Redhill Works Ltd have been involved in building fibre optic networks for most of the major telecommunications service providers. Our specialist experience within the Midlands area means that we are familiar with the rigorous requirements of demanding telecommunication users.

Our project planners and managers liaise closely with clients at the initial design stage. All networks are commissioned using the latest technology, Optical Time Domain Reflectometers (OTDR) and Insertion Loss Measurement equipment. Splicing is carried out by experienced members of staff using the Fujikura/Furukawa/Sumitumo range of Fusion Splicing machines. Once the cable has been tested, it is connected to each end on an Optical Distribution Frame and the test results can be provided in a standard format.

Complete Installations

Redhill Works Ltd has a business installation service that caters for all kinds of installations from high-rise office blocks to business parks. For any major installation an initial site survey is carried out to determine manpower and equipment. One of our experienced Managers will be responsible for job specifications and targets.

Network Maintenance

Utilising advanced test equipment, Redhill Works Ltd will ensure your network is fully tested to specification. Our fully trained engineers conduct all types of testing for cable television and telephone networks. Forward and return path commissioning plus OTDR, TDR and ILM testing - both preventative and reactive

Project Management and Consultation

Redhill Works Ltd offers a value-added service, giving over and above what is expected every time. The service covers organisational issues, planning, scheduling and control. All projects are realistically costed and often planned into time-critical programmes.

BT Exchanges

Redhill Works Ltd provides installation and commissioning support to several clients on BT installations, both internal and external.

Internal works include LLU installations and Ironwork frame builds for OLO clients and the BT 21CN with fully equipped engineers nationwide.
